There are several ways to donate to the Leschi PTA, via check, cash, or the easy online options below. All raised funds support the students and staff of Leschi Elementary.

Facebook makes it easy to donate online. Just click the "Donate" button on the Leschi Elementary Facebook page. You may choose a one-time donation or a reoccurring monthly donation. This is also an easy way to invite family and friends to invest in Leschi! A tax receipt accompanies all donations (sent via email) and 100% of every gift goes to the Leschi PTA (i.e. there are no fees)!
PayPal
Another option is to make a donation to Leschi PTA using the PayPal Giving Fund. Like Facebook, 100% of these donations go directly to supporting our school (no fees) and you receive a tax receipt via email.

Giving Garland
During the months of November and December, our Giving Garland is up and running.
Where does the money go?
The funds raised during this campaign are necessary to help support many essential elements of our school. In these challenging times for school finances, the PTA is helping where federal, state, and district budget cuts have left gaps.
Your PTA donation supports Leschi students and families by providing funding for tutors, library books, classroom supplies, field trips, art supplies, snacks, assistance for students and families in need, teacher professional development, community events, and more!
Reimbursements to teachers for out-of-pocket expenses make up one of our biggest budget categories each year, so we asked some Leschi teachers to share how PTA funds help them enrich our students’ educational experience:
This year’s budget calls for more than $25,000 to go to teachers because they shouldn’t have to spend their own money on their classroom. Here’s how a few of our Leschi teachers use PTA funds:
“The funds provided by the Leschi PTA have been used to purchase resources for students at every skill level. I've purchased memberships to a few platforms that offer professional perspectives and tips that will enrich my practice. The funds have come in handy in purchasing cooperative activities that are in alignment with our curriculum and that are fun and engaging for the students. I've used the funds to purchase books that are reflective of the students I serve each year. The funds have been a great option when purchasing for my SEL library too. There are so many ways that the funds are spent...The generosity of the Leschi PTA is acknowledgement of just how much we spend each year to ensure that our students remain engaged and grow as Leschi Learners! Thank you so very much for your support!”

“Being a first-year teacher, the PTA funds have helped me shape my classroom in a way that’s warm and welcoming for my Kindergarteners. In addition, I was able to purchase classroom materials that support their learning – for example, anchor charts and work bins which are used every single day in our class. Through the use of these materials, my students continue to learn fundamental skills as a student and learn ways to work independently towards their success.”

I use my PTA funds in lots of eclectic ways:
· New picture books that I want to share with class
· Name tag plates
· Teacher Pay Teacher curriculum supports
· A digital clock
· A lamp
· Art supplies for special projects (gems, stickers, etc.)
